Welcome to the BMHS Class of 1962 Reunion Website
Hi classmates and friends.
Our 55th Class Reunion was very successful!
We started with a few classmates on Friday afternoon with a game called "Pickleball", thanks to Whitey Gilbertson. Whitey, Dan and Bonnie Hollibush (Churchill) seemed to have already become experts. Some of us found out it is not as easy as we thought it would be. Perhaps we can take some lessons and be ready for our next reunion.
We had a small group for our Saturday morning golf outing. The weather was much better than the freezing weather we had at our 50th Reunion and we enjoyed the golfing, and were able to chat with everyone throughout the round. Congratulations to Signe Bohrnstedt for a Birdie on Hole 14 (which can be a very difficult hole), and congratulations to Mike Hartman for his Eagle shot at another hole.
Our 55th Class Reunion was held Saturday evening as planned. We had a good location, a good dinner, and were able to mix and chat with many of our classmates and spouses throughout the evening. Several classmates were so happy with the reunion that they suggested we consider having another reunion for our "75th Birthday".
Our Reunion Committee also thinks that it would be nice to have another reunion in 2 years. We would like your feedback if you agree that we should plan a "75th Birthday Reunion".
Once again, I'm sorry to have to inform you of a loss of another classmate, Kathy Meyer Minogue. I was informed by another classmate, Karen Chamberlin, who is Kathy's cousin. Karen's information was quite touching and I thought you would appreciate her feelings.
"Yet another classmate has passed away from complications following a long illness on October 1. Kathy Meyer Minogue- My friend, my cousin my sister since the age of 8. We are related but have been joined at the hip since we first laid eyes on one another at one of our family reunions. We had horses and rode together every chance we could get and spent our summers with our families at our cottage on Pleasant Lake. She will be missed in so many ways. She has a surviving husband, daughter son in law and grandson. She was the most giving person I have ever met. Always wanting to help anyone that was worse off than she was in any way she could.
We had talked of coming to the reunion on the 30th, she thought she could make it but it did not go that way as we approached September. So very sad.
Karen Chamberlin Bodouski"
Karen also passed on the following important information.
"I have recently been told, by Kathy's daughter Emily that there is a memorial service on Oct 22 at the Old Stone Church at 1:30."
